Storko started with a simple frustration: too many South African businesses were getting websites and Shopify stores from people who disappeared once the invoice cleared, or from agencies where a junior handled the account after the pitch was won. Storko was built in Pretoria to do the opposite — fixed pricing agreed upfront, work done by someone who actually understands Shopify and conversion, and a studio small enough that nothing gets lost between a salesperson and the person actually building your store.
Our mission
To give South African businesses e-commerce stores and websites that actually convert — without the agency markup, the freelancer risk, or the "we'll get to it next sprint" runaround. Every project is scoped, priced, and delivered by the same specialist, from the first call to launch and beyond.
Who's behind it
Storko is run day-to-day by Keith Pillay, a Shopify-certified developer who spent years building and maintaining high-traffic South African retail storefronts before going independent.
